Creative Academy Day One

Monday-Art in Nature

Today was the first day of our Creative Academy Art Camp. What darling young artists I had the privilege of creating with. We explored the wonders of art through nature! Today our young artists discovered how leaves, twigs, pinecones, and plants can be turned into beautiful creations. We used natural materials in creative ways to design T-shirts, stamp butterflies (senior group) and make bird feeders. Along the way the kids learned that art is all around us-even paint comes from the earth! These activities encourage creativity, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in nature.
